Kenyon College - Dean of Students
Gambier, OH- Henry P. Toutain, the long-time dean of students at Gustavus Adolphus College and a student-life professional with more than thirty years of experience, will become the next dean of students at Kenyon, President S. Georgia Nugent has announced.

Karen L. Goldstein joined Academic Search, Inc. in 2009 after serving as Vice President for Business and Finance at Davidson College since 2004.
She was Vice President for Finance and Administration at the University of Puget Sound from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Goldstein was Chief Deputy Director (COO & CFO) at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County from 1995 to 2000 and Executive Vice President at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1992 to 1995. From 1975 to 1992, she held several academic and administrative positions at the University of Pennsylvania, with the ultimate responsibility in finance, administration, information technology, and strategic planning. She also spent 1980-81 at Princeton University as an ACE Fellow.
Dr. Goldstein has been active for many years in the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and Educause, the national association for higher education information technology. Goldstein spent three years as a faculty member for the Educause Leadership Institute and a year as a faculty member for the Strategic Planning Institute of the Society for College and University Planning. She has led many seminars and workshops and has consulted on strategic planning and financial management in higher education as well as museums.
She holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in French Literature from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in French Literature.
