Dr. Jessica Kozloff, senior consultant, joined Academic Search in 2008. She is President Emerita of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where she served as President from July 1, 1994 until her retirement on December 31, 2007. Dr. Kozloff is president of Kozloff Enterprises, LLC providing consulting services to academic and non-profits entities, including serving as a facilitator for the AASCU Experienced Presidents Retreat. Because of her long history with public, comprehensive colleges and universities, she specializes in searches in those sectors. Her recent searches include University of Wisconsin-River Falls (chancellor); AASCU (president); Longwood University (president); Buffalo State College (president); Salisbury University (Dean of Business) and Southeast Missouri (provost).

Prior to joining Bloomsburg University, Dr. Kozloff served as vice president for academic and student affairs for the State Colleges of Colorado, a system of four regional campuses serving 26,000 students. Before that, she held several administrative positions at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. She taught undergraduate courses in political science at the University of Nevada-Reno, Colorado State University in Fort Collins, the University of Northern Colorado, and Metropolitan State College of Denver, and was a member of the graduate faculty at the University of Northern Colorado.

Dr. Kozloff served as an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow during the 1985-86 academic year. Her fellowship involved her in the research by the National Governors Association on improving undergraduate education. She also worked with the Education Commission of the States on a similar project. Following her fellowship year, Dr. Kozloff was elected president of the Council of Fellows, the alumni organization of ACE Fellows.

Active in organizations on the local, national and international levels during her tenure as president, Dr. Kozloff served as a member of the NCAA Presidents Council; chaired the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the regional accrediting body for Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands; and was a member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. Dr. Kozloff has been involved in educational missions to South Korea, Mexico, China, Israel, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, and Russia. In 2004, she received an honorary doctorate from the Russian Finance Academy in Moscow. Her earned degrees include a doctorate in Political Science from Colorado State University, and s bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Nevada-Reno.
