Allen Mori most recently was at California State University at Dominguez Hills as provost and vice president for academic affairs. Prior to this, he was a college of education dean for 19 years: dean of the charter college of education of California State University, Los Angeles, and dean of the college of education of Marshall University. From 2008 until 2010, he was the senior consultant in higher education for the Educational Testing Service. During his career in academe, Dr. Mori has been involved in a wide range of searches including those for president, provost, and vice president for administration and finance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and numerous searches for academic deans in the California State University system. He holds a Ph.D. in special education from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.Ed. from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a B.A. in government.
