Academic Search

Michelle Abramovich, Research Coordinator, has been with Academic Search since July of 2009. As Research Coordinator, she pairs researchers and consultants for every search and provides them with informational and logistical assistance from the central office throughout the process. Additionally, she handles contract negotiations between Academic Search and the institutions, works with the researcher and consultant assigned to each search to develop and implement an advertising strategy and conducts degree verifications, credit, criminal, and motor vehicle checks on all finalists.

Prior to Academic Search, Michelle worked as a pastry cook and baker at two local restaurants. She has also worked as a manager and consultant at a start-up coffee shop, and a legal assistant at a DC immigration law firm. She graduated summa cum laude from American University, majoring in International Studies with a minor in Russian Language.
