Melinda Leonardo, Director of Consulting Services, has been with Academic Search since February 2002. At Academic Search, Melinda is responsible for the firm’s marketing initiatives from initial prospective client contact, proposal submission in response to client requests, shoot-out preparation for the consultant team, to final negotiations of the award of a new search. In addition, Melinda coordinates the training of new consultants to the Academic Search team.
Prior to joining the Academic Search team, Melinda served as a communication specialist for Palm Harbor Homes in Dallas, TX. She holds a Masters in Communication from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts from Alma College. She is currently working to complete a doctorate in Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media from North Carolina State University.
