Erin L. Owens, Executive Assistant for Programs and Management, has been with Academic Search since September of 2009. At Academic Search, Erin is responsible for coordinating the firm’s board meetings, retreats, and events as well as for providing general administrative support for the staff and consultants. Erin also serves as the assistant to the President and Director of Finance and Administration.
Prior to joining the Academic Search team, Erin interned with the American Federation of Teachers, a trade union which specializes in educational issues. Previously, she spent a semester in Kenya where she worked with a micro-financing group for women in the informal settlements of Nairobi. She is a recent graduate of American University, where she majored in International Studies and minored in Women & Gender Studies.
