Eric Smith is the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer at Academic Search. As Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer, Eric is responsible for the financial, program, and administrative management of Academic Search, which includes ensuring that the day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Eric is also a volunteer member of multiple not-for-profit Boards. He serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County (serving three years as Treasurer) and recently joined the Board of Directors as Treasurer of Ivymount Outreach Programs which provides individualized therapeutic and educational support services to children with disabilities. Eric holds a B.S. in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary’s College and an M.B.A. from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
