Organization of the Search

A key determinant of success will be the thoughtful organization of the search process. Academic Search works side-by-side with the client to set specific goals and develop operating guidelines. At the initial meeting of the search committee, the consultant will:
- Assist in structuring the overall process
- Advise the search committee regarding its duties and expectations
- Negotiate timelines and ground rules
The search consultant, with support from a research associate, will:
- Develop web-based communication tools
- Draft correspondence as needed for all phases of the search
- Maintain and control search records, including candidate credentials
These early efforts work in concert with the Pre-Search Study that each consultant contects at the start of a new search.
