The American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI)

Academic Search supports the programs of the American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI) by providing AALI with funding and consultation (a) for creating academic leadership development programs; (b) for fostering the effective administration of colleges and universities; and (c) for sponsoring and generating research and publications which promote the future success of higher education.

 

The American Academic Leadership Institute (AALI), headquartered in Washington, DC, is a non-profit organization which works to strengthen the leadership of both public and private higher education.  The scope of AALI’s services includes (a) the identification and development of leadership talent; (b) the provision of programs, initiatives, and assistance for academic leaders in various administrative positions enabling them to be successful in their roles and to advance the institutions they serve; (c) consultation to academic leaders and boards of trustees concerning the issues facing higher education and its governance; and (d) assistance during periods of administrative leadership transition.  AALI provides seminars and workshops; supports higher education research and publications; and consults with collegiate trustees and administrators, higher education researchers, and others on a wide range of topics related to leadership development and the successful administration of colleges and universities.
